About 29things

29things (as you’ll notice in some of the older posts) originally started out as a blog about simplicity, productivity, and design, stemming from an article Leo from zenhabits posted called ‘Minimalist Fun: The 100 Things Challenge’, but since has morphed more of my focus on to business and lifestyle design. Productivity and simplicity still play a central roll in lifestyle design but now has an added a sprinkling of some of the stereotypical business oriented lifestyle design concepts, such as automation, outsourcing, and living life in some exotic paradise ;)

About Ian

I’m a fairly creative cat, at least I think so. I also have an notoriously short attention span. Those 2 things make an interesting, but never boring combination. From age 13 till now (27), I’ve launched a record label, produced 3 records, went to UCLA for business & marketing, worked in PR for some pretty cool musicians, opened a recording studio, attended culinary school, opened a restaurant, managed an organic farm & hostel in Costa Rica, and designed a bunch of cool websites and web applications.

I currently live in the beautiful mountains of northern Thailand working on cool web-based business projects, and generally just loving life and making the most of it.
